ok... so firstly - im sorry i havnt been on latley... i will try and be more active... however right now i will need some of your guy's help.
on platinum im up to the 6th gym, vsing the steel-type. it is difficult, so i decided to gather up my pokemon and try to work out a strong team. that is where you guys come in. im gunna tell you a list, consisting of all my pokemon - and their levels and Any HMs/Other extra notes you might need to know... i was juust wondering if you guys could help me pick a strong team of 6 pokemon :)

- Rhyhorn, Lvl; 21.
- Finneon, Lvl; 24. [Knows Surf]
- Barboach, Lvl; 19.
- Drifloon, Lvl; 23. [Knows Defog]
- Meditite, Lvl; 31.
- Luxray, Lvl; 41.
- Roselia, Lvl; 29. [Knows Cut]
- Prinplup, Lvl; 27.
- Staravia, Lvl; 30. [Knows Fly]
- Flareon, Lvl; 27. [Note: Doesnt actually know any fire type attacks]
- Tegopi, Lvl; 28.
- Sheildon, Lvl; 20. [Might go in Daycare...]
- Riolu, Lvl; 1. [In Daycare]

Well, time to bust out my own game and build a party of my own :D

Okays, first evolve your Prinplup and make sue it knows Aqua Jet, it will give you a speed advantage. And then evolve Staravia again for some better speed. Teach Flareon some fire type attacks, Roselia could be a great help as well.. make sure it has leech seed, mega/giga drain, and maybe poison poweder.. those attacks ensure you can to the most damage in one turn.. But make sure to level it up... Level up Drifloon, it being a ghost type could be helpful.. and maybe use Luxray if able to..

thanks, but im thinking rather then train flareon - perhaps go to fuego ironworks and grab myself a magmar? so with that it should be:
- Empoleon, once evolved.
- Staraptor, once evolved.
- Luxray
- Roselia
- Drifblim, once evolved.
- Magmar

ok, i have modified my team a little bit - and just in time because im finally at the league! Im going to tell you guys my team so far, and have you guys modify it, for one final time - and once its perfect, im gunna get through the league. heres my team;

- Graveler, Lvl. 33
- Roserade, Lvl. 35
- Empoleon, Lvl. 40
- Rapidash, Lvl. 42
- Staraptor, Lvl. 43
- Luxray, Lvl. 54

I advise not using flareon, as it has no useful fire type moves. Though it focuses on the attack stat, the only fire type move that is physical, is also very week.

I know how to help your Empoleon, but I need to know it's nature first.
