Dawn, the ocean was painted a stunning array of orange, red, and dark blue as the early morning sun began to rise. A small fishing boat had docked at the Amethis Beach port, and off came it's one and only passanger. Saika looked back at the open sea behind her, and though about her home all the way back in Sinnoh. It made her sad that she had to leave her family and her old pokemon behind, but this was the only way to get her team back.
Thanking the captain of the fishing boat, she hopped off of the docks, and landed with a muffeled thud in the sand of the beach. She smiled, and took off her shoes to walk barefoot along the water's edge for a while. It would be a long trip from the docks to the proffesors lab, but that's exactly why Saika had gotten such an early head start. She looked to the letter again, and looked to the back where all the starters were listed. She knew which one she wanted, and couldn't wait to meet them.
