After defeating two trainers upon his arrival in Honiso, Maximillion Maimou, a trainer who started his journey from One Island along with an Elekid he received from his father, decided to take a stroll in Amtheius Beach in order to find some pokemon to battle with his Elekid.

The trainer had only one thing in his mind. He wanted to make his pokemon stronger. Unlike other trainers who cared for their pokemon and had a friendship with them, Maximillion belived that the sole reason that the pokemon existed was to battle. As a result, he was willing to train his pokemon to the very limit...

And so, with the intentions to train Elekid on anything he happened to find, the trainer walked at the beach... Who knew what he would encounter while walking at the beach.

A couple minutes before Max arrived at the beach a poliwag and two azumarills were having a fight. Poliwag being the brave little fellow that he was tried to take on the two azumarills. They started laughing knowing they could easily take him. They took the poliwag and stuffed him in the sand before poliwhirl came by. It just so happened that max was right about to trip over polliwag and dislodge him.

"Hmph. These pokemon seem to be having a battle..." the trainer said with an ironic look on his face. He said "They look pretty weak. They would be a good training for my Elekid. Come out Elekid." as he threw the electric pokemon's pokeball on the beach's sand and made it appear. The pokemon, whose personality was the same as Maximillion's smiled evily as it looked at the pokemon. It screamed "Elekid!" with an angry look on its face, prepared to attack all of them after it would receive a command from its trainer...

As the azumarill saw the strong looking elekid they looked scared knowing that it was electric type. However they saw that elekid wasn't that high of a level so they could beat him easily. They quickly shoved polliwog more into the ground so that it wouldn't ruin the fight than they used watergun. Their waterguns combined to make one huge watergun heading right for elekid.

"Two against one? You are pathetic!" the trainer said with an angry looking face as he pointed his hand towards the right and gave a command at his pokemon. He said "These pokemon are slower than you are. Dodge by using Quick Attack!".

In an instant, as the two water attacks were coming towards the electric pokemon, it started running extremely fast, dodging them. Then, the trainer smiled evily and said "Now... Strike with Thundershock!" and the pokemon launched an electric attack towards the two pokemon in an attempt to damage them. The battle had just started. Who would emerge victorious?

The Azumarills were thinking that this kid doesn't know we are a higher level than his pokemon. The Elwood was fast but as their time training together they got faster. They dodged the thundershock with ease as they used watergun again but much faster.

"Dodge with Quick Attack again!" the trainer commanded his pokemon and Elekid tried to do so. However, as it was running away, it barely got hit by the attack and was sent several meters backwards. That attack hurt... The electric pokemon would not give up, though. With its angry looking face, it got up. Then, it shouted "ELEKID!" and its trainer said "Hmph. Stop being pathetic. Use Thundershock again." and Elekid launched another electric attack towards the two pokemon in an attempt to damage them with its super effective attack... Would the attack hit or not?

As Elekid attacked a strong poliwhirl that was obviously the parent of the poliwag saw what happened to the polliwag. Appearantly the azumarills were afraid of the poliwhirl. They stared at it know they were in for same trouble. They started running but they forgot about Elekid. Thundershock hit the two poliwhirl and paralyzed them. This was Elekid and Poliwhirls time for an attack.

"Hmph? What are these pokemon?" the trainer wondered, surprised by the fact that they appeared out of nowhere. Seeing them at their weakned state, he said "Anyway... We will deal with these pokemon, then. Elekid, strike with Thundershock.". The trainer seemed to have no signs of appreciation at all...

And just like its trainer, Elekid had no signs of appreciation either. With an evil look on its face, the pokemon launched another electric attack towards the two pokemon, in an attempt to damage them and cause some damage. Who knew what would happen in that battle... Would Elekid win or not?

The Azumarills didn't know what had hit them. They tried moving but it didn't work. They weren't afraid of the Elekid as much the poliwhirl that was coming toward the hillside. They were hit by another electrical attack that would weaken them even more. One more electrical attack would make them feint. Once they realized the Elekid was actually damaging them they used bubble beam at him.

"Dodge." the trainer said without showing any signs of emotion and the electric pokemon used Quick Attack to get out of the way of the Bubblebeam. Then, he pointed towards the two pokemon and with an evil look on his face, he said "Now... Time to end this battle. Strike with Thundershock one more time!". As soon as he said that, Elekid smiled and started charging electricity... Afterwards, it launched the attack and hoped that it would be enough to defeat the pokemon. Would Maximillion win or not?

The azumarills recovered from their paralyzed state fast enough to dodge the attack. They were about to use watergun on Elekid when a different watergun came and knocked them unconscious. He was mad at what they did to his son polliwag. He turned and looked at the Elekid and nodded a thank you. He took his son a started to run away leaving behind an Oran Berry for Max. The two Azumarill justlaid there. One of them could be caught or Max could just go on his way.

[yay! Elekid leveled up!]

Seeing that his pokemon managed to defeat the pokemon with the help of the Poliwhirl the trainer sighed. He returned Elekid back at its pokeball while saying "Hmph. That was not the best job you could do... But it was okay.". Then, he turned his back and with a serious look on his face he left after receiving the berry from the Poliwhirl. That was the end of the stroll of the trainer in the beach. Now, he had to concentrate on his training in order to challenge the first gym soon.
