As soon as Maximillion arrived in Honiso, he found a trainer that wanted his Charmander for a prize. As the trainer did not need a pokemon like Charmander at that moment, he decided to give it to the trainer. Moreover, as he was traveling, he was given a Lileep and so he was now travelling with it. It could definetely be helpful to him in the begining and if it was strong enough, he would let it be a permanent member of his party. And so, the trainer started searching for some rare pokemon in Isis Town that could be helpful to him in his journey with Lileep by his side.

Maximillion was worried as Machamp seemed to be more and more angry towards his pokemon. However, he got a plan to defeat it. Seeing that Riolu was hit by the Revenge attack made Maximillion worry. Riolu had some strength left but if it was not used properly, the trainer and the pokemon would lose the battle. As soon as he listened to the Seismic Toss command, Maximillion commanded Riolu "Use Endure!" quickly, the pokemon crossed its arms and took the Seismic Toss attack, while enduring the hit. The damage that Riolu took from that attack was incredible. If it did not use the move, it would be defeated. Maximillion smiled as he saw that Riolu was still standing. Afterwards, his face turned serious and he pointed towards Machamp with his right hand. He said "Use Counter on Machamp's head!". Riolu nodded and quickly run towards Machamp. As soon as it reached it, it jumped on its head and started using Counter on Machamp's face endlessly. The pokemon moved its hands and legs fiercely, striking Machamp to the face with some strong punches and kicks, causing twice the damage Riolu received from the Seismic Toss, while also shouting "Riolu!!!!". This was the last hope of Maximillion.

Machamp took the blow with strife. It took a few staggering steps backwards as it was continually hit and slowly started to weaken. However, even though twice the damage was done to him, he still had some energy left. He was quite a bit stronger than the Riolu and after the attack he was still standing, although he was sweating.

The trainer looked at his Pokémon dull y and the smirked noticing the Riolu's shape. "Machamp, finish it off with a Karate Chop."

The Machamp walked forward, a little dizzily but managed to focus its vision and slammed its arms in a downwards motion onto the Riolu.

Maximillion was happy to see that Machamp had taken a lot of damage from that strong Counter attack. Riolu had managed to use Machamp's own power against it and now they looked even. However, Machamp and its trainer were persistent. They would not let themselves lose that easily and so they were going with the Karate Chop attack. Maximillion pointed towards Machamp. Then, he said "Okay, Riolu! It is about time we finish this battle! Jump to dodge and use Force Palm!". The pokemon nodded. Then, it jumped high, dodging the Karate Chop attack and launched a shockwave from its hands that aimed towards Machamp's head.

The Machamp laughed slightly. It was a wrestling pokemon and thought that even a ranged force palm would be weak. It took the hit head on but it's laughter before was the exact opposite of what it should have been feeling. The force palm cause him ti flip backwards and he only managed to land safely out of pure luck. It then slumped to the floor in a heap, knocked unconscious.

"Good fight," the trainer said to Max, "If you can take down a machoke which is twice the level of your Riolu a Hariyama should be a cake-"

He was interrupted by another thud, it seemed Riolu passed out due to exhaustion.

"Good job Riolu" were the trainer's words to the pokemon. Riolu had done great. He was glad to have Riolu in his team. In the begining it looked like it could not beat the Machamp but the battle finally ended up with a draw... What a twist. Then, Maximillion returned Riolu back at its pokeball and turned towards the trainer. He said "I hope so..." while taking a deep breath. He continued "So... Where do you think I can find a Makuhita or a Hariyama to catch? These Makuhita whicha are around are your pokemon's children... So I do not want to take them away from their parent."

"They're easily found in the town, usually hiding," the boy said, "There is an abandoned Dojo in town, maybe you should try there?" the boy shrugged, not knowing where they were most common as his and his Hariyamas meeting was by accident. "It was nice meeting you... er.... What was your name again?"

"Well... I am Maximillion. And you are?" were the words of Max to the man. He had just realized that he had not asked his name yet. He was so obsessed with the battle and with catching Hariyama that he did not ask the trainer's name. And so, Maximillion waited for the trainer's name before he would head to the Dojo and search for the Makuhita or the Hariyama he was about to catch and add in his precious team.

"Tom," he said with a small smile, "Good luck with the Dojo." Hariyama picked him up and they walked over a hill leaving Max to his thoughts. The dojo was maybe a 5 minute walk away and the pokemon centre was on the way so Rioul could rest up too.

Max waved goodbye to Tom and started heading towards the Dojo. Luckily, the pokemon center was on his way and so he healed his pokemon before he would go to the Dojo. Afterwards, he left from the pokemon center. He asked for precise directions and so he knew where to go. And so, after around 20 minutes, the trainer was finally at the Dojo and entered in order to find a Hariyama, a Makuhita or something else that could be rare.

When you enter you see some fighting pokemon who are deep into training. Not wanting to disturb them you wait for them to finish and are approached by an elderly man, "I suppose y grandson sent you here," he said in a wheezy voice, "Well if you beat them once they're done then take them, they aren't mine I just provide them with a place."

The trainer listened to the old man carefully and prepared himself to start battling the pokemon. With a smile on his face, the trainer picked up a pokeball from his belt. Afterwards, he tossed it on the ground, while saying "Come out Lileep.". As soon as Lileep appeared, it prepared itself. It was about to start battling pokemon so that it would train and give the chance to Max to add another pokemon in his team.

The sound of whirling wind could be heard as something came towards your Liliip at a high speed. It was a whirlwind of blue and tan spinning in a plethora of blurs. It was like a living tornado. It stopped in front of you with an angry look on its face. It used it's hand to balance itself as it had stopped spinning. "Hit mon toooooop."

It challenged you to a fight. And it looked like it was letting you take the first move.

"Okay Lileep! Start with Acid!" were the commands of the trainer to his Lileep. The pokemon nodded and without losing any time, it launched a spray towards Hitmontop. If the attack was successful, then Lileep and Maximillion would have an advantage over the battle. However, they could not know what was about to happen until Hitmontop made its move... The battle had just started, after all.

The acid his but the effect was minimal. As soon as you gave the command the hitmontop started spinning and the acid was flung straight off. The Hitmontop was now squinting, though you couldnt see, and closed in on Lileep. It closed in on you and your pokemon and used two rolling kicks in quick sucession. They weren't guaranteed to hit due to the speed he was revolving but it was likely.

As the trainer looked at the fighting type pokemon that was rushing towards his pokemon to attack with the two consecutive Rolling Kick attacks, he thought of a plan. He would command his pokemon to use Constrict on Hitmontop's legs so that it would stop it from moving. If that worked, he would command Lileep to go with an Acid attack so that he would cause some more damage to Hitmontop. He pointed towards the wild pokemon and said "Use Constrict on its legs!" while hoping that his strategy would work.

This plan sort of back fired. The momentum of the Hitmontop was so great that when the tentacles grabbed onto his legs the Lileep was lifted off the ground and began to spin with Hitmontop. Eventually the weight and the tight constricts caused the Hitmontop but not before Lileep was knocked into the wall a few times.

Lileep had taken quite damage but it was still able to fight. It could handle a battle against a wild Hitmontop. The grass/ rock type pokemon got up and looked towards the fighting type pokemon. Then, it listened to its trainer who said "Lileep! Use the Acid Constrict combination!". Suddenly, the vines on Lileep's head started lengthening and slowly turned to purple due to the Acid. The pokemon would attack with its strongest combination.

Hitmontop was grabbed by tentacles again and culd feel them burning. Perplexed, it stopped spinning and looked down at teh acidic tentacles, now it had lost it's momentum it was an easier pokemon to fight and it's moves would be less effective as they replied on his speed. It began to spin slowly againa dn began using focus energy.

Seeing that this was his chance, Maximillion decided to make another move. He pointed towards Hitmontop with a smile on his face and said "Lileep, use Acid once more!". The pokemon did not lose any time. It quickly targeted Hitmontop and in no time it launched a purple, acidic spray from its mouth that aimed for Hitmontop's face. Maximillion was pretty sure that if the attack hit, he would emerge victorious...

Hitmontop was hit, the acid burning through his skin, and boy did it hurt. However, he had been planning his own little attack when Lileep used acid. With his last conscious breath the small but powerful fighting type pokemon lashed out with his revenge attack. This attack's special ability kicked in when Hitmontop was hit by the acid attack, making it do double the damage and knocking Lileep out. The dust settled and two unconscious pokemon now lay on the ground.

Maximillion smiled as he saw at his pokemon defeating the wild pokemon. Lileep was growing stronger and stronger. The pokemon was definetely impressive. Hopefully, Maximillion had found a great partner. With its skill, it managed to overcome many pokemon. Lileep was steadily growing stronger. And so, Maximillion continued searching for a rare pokemon in the Dojo to catch with his partner...

As Max walked an odd fighting type jumped from the bushes and joined him on his stroll. The strange frog pokemon walked beside Max like it was perfectly normal for a wild pokemon to walk with a stranger. It had a bland look on its face like it really didn't give a shit about anything. The croagunk never even looked up at Max, it just fell into step with him as the trainer walked and didn't say a word. Weird....

As soon as Maximillion realized that he was being followed by a wild Croagunk, he decided to speak to it. Not knowing what Croagunk's intentions were, he decided to ask it so that he could learn. He took a deep breath before speaking and afterwards, he spoke his words "Hello! I see you are following me... Do you want to come with me?" while also having a wide smile on his face. The trainer was definetely friendly to the poison mouth pokemon.

"Cro?" the Croguno asked confused. It couldn't understand a word of what Max was saying but understood his intentions were pure. The Crogunk then carried on like it was nobody's business and didn't say another word until it stopped outside of a Ice cream store. It pointed inside with it's one poisonous claw onit's right hand then to itself.

"Well, whatever..." the trainer said with a disappointed face. It seemed like the Croagunk was kind of stupid. Even if he got that pokemon in his team, it would probably only cause him trouble. He said "Goodbye Croagunk..." as he started departing from the place. The trainer had met most of the rare fighting type pokemon he could find in the city. There was no reason to be disappointed at all. He managed to catch a Kirlia, evolve it into a Gallade and catch a very strong Riolu. It would be better for him to go and take on a Gym Challenge...
