Cassian opened the gate to the Pokemon Farm, and slowly walked through, shutting it behind him. There were Pokemon everywhere, normal type Pokemon, yet none had approached him yet. He was kinda sad that he might have scared them somehow, but he thought he would seem more approachable if other Pokemon were around him, and with that, he grabbed the two Pokeballs off his waist and clicked the buttons, enlarging them to normal size. He kept them in miniature form so they didn't take up too much space, but he always resized them before battle. "Come on out, guys!" Cassian would shout, not bothering to throw the Pokeballs. They opened up, and a beam would hit the ground, reforming into a Pansage and a Riolu. Glitter and little sparkles would glimmer off of Riolu, proving that Riolu was shiny.

Pansage quickly ran off into the open fields, eager to have some free time. Riolu on the other hand, stood close to Cassian. He knew already, just by the sight of all these normal type Pokemon that they would be training. Riolu grinned. Easy targets. "You ready to have some fun, Riolu?" The shiny Riolu simply replied with a nod. "Riiiii."

As the Pansage left the scene where the trainer was with the Riolu a small Azurill walked over, her movement rather wobbly. The little water Pokémon was not used to using her feet as a way of transportation, instead usually resorting to her tail, but decided that she wanted to try to walk.

The little Pokémon slowly made its way towards Cassian and let out a little squeak as she tripped over her new legs. The Azurill, you see, was born only a few weeks ago and this was her first experience with walking.

Soon enough however the tiny water mouse was near enough to the Riolu to let out a happy cry. "Azuu" she squeaked happily before blowing a playful bubble and watching it float into the sky. When it popped the little water-type let out a happy "Rilll!" and then turned her attention to Cassian, her head turned to the left curiously.

"Azu?"

At first, Cassian had no idea an Azurill and came up to him, as he was deep in thought, gazing out upon the beautiful landscape. He grinned enthusiastically at the cute little normal type Pokemon who had just tripped over it's own feet. It smiled and blew a bubble at Cassian's Shiny Riolu. The bubble floated up and popped, and Cassian found himself eye to eye with the cutest thing he had ever seen. Cassian truly did not want to hurt this cute little Pokemon, so he simply knelt down, and instead of directly attacking, he whispered in his most innocent and friendly voice, "Hey, Azuril. Are you up for a friendly battle against Riolu?" He nudged his head towards the Golden Riolu who simply nodded encouragingly.

He didn't come here looking to play, but if the Azurill didn't want to battle, Cassian would probably just play with it for a little bit. Cassian smiled at the newborn Pokemon, and deeply hoped it would agree. Though, you can't change someone's ideals, especially on force. So, he simply waited with a welcoming smile on his face. If the Azurill did agree, however, Cassian would be very happy. Even if it didn't, he figured he could have a good time.

Azurill backed from the trainer with a little cute glare on her face. "Azuu, zuu." she squeaked before quickly climbing it's balloon like tail. The little Pokémon blew some bubbles at the Riolu and then bounced over Cassian and grabbed a hold onto his leg by wrapping her tail around him. "Zuuu." it cried cutely and it blew some bubbles harmlessly towards the sky, giggling every time one popped.

Meanwhile one of the bigger Pokémon who was happily grazing the grass noticed that the small Azurill that it had been watching for it's mother let out a loud cry. No baby was getting stolen on its watch. The bright pink Snubull marched its way over to Cassian and let out a fierce growl.

It was at this time that the Pokémon noticed the Riolu and without waiting, attacked, ice forming on it's fangs. It bit the Riolu full on and then let go, noticing the bite mark freeze over. If this Pokémon was scared his ice fang, he better wait for his other moves.

They didn't call him the biting fiend for nothing.

Cassian stood up as the Azurill backed away, cutely sneering. He grinned as it blew more bubbles at Riolu, who flinched, and then the Azurill wrapped around his leg. Cassian assumed it just wanted to play, so reached down to pet it. That's when he heard the growl. He turned in horror as a dangerous looking Snubull materialized. Cassian scrunched his face as it growled. Suddenly, the pink Pokemon turned it's attention to Riolu. Suddenly, it charged, with frost coming out of it's mouth. This made Cassian assume it was ice fang, so he didn't think it would do much damage.

Fortunately, Riolu's reflexes and instincts kicked in and he sidestepped without instruction. "Good, Riolu! Now, use Quick Attack!" With that being said, The shiny Riolu sprinted at Snubull with blinding speed, even though it was only a few feet away. Riolu's golden mane glowed beautifully under the sun, and that beauty would plow with everything it had into snubull.

The wild Snubull growled as the Pokémon attempted to hit it. It, like the Riolu, dodged the attack and pursued by using Thunder fang on the golden Riolu. A flash of light engulfed the pink Pokémon as it went to attack the Riolu.

The little Azurill who was tied to Cassian's leg let out a little bubble curiously and looked at the Snubull trying to explain what was going on. Of course, the Snubull was too into battling to little Riolu to pay any attention to the water-mouse's complaints.

As the Snubull let go of the other Pokémon it barked towards it. "What do you think you are trying to do?" it questioned angrily before taking a few steps back and getting ready for whatever attack came next.

Cassian cursed to himself as the wild Snubull dodged Riolu's quick attack. He noticed a yellow aura wrapping quickly around Snubull as it lunged at Riolu again, but this time using a thunder fang. Cassian knew Riolu was quick, but he had just stopped dead in it's tracks after missing it's attack, and he had no chance of dodging. "Quick! Riolu, use endure!" The fangs sunk into Riolu's left arm as he went to block, and he squealed in pain. Using Endure, Riolu had taken the attack dead on but could still go on. "You okay, Riolu?" Cassian called to his Pokemon. It nodded, "Lu!" Cassian smiled.

Just then, as Riolu prepared to attack, Pansage ran up with a big smile on her face, until it saw the growling Snubull. Cassian looked down at the Azurill at his leg, and suddenly had an idea from his impaired movement. "Pansage, use vine whip to hold Snubull in place, and Riolu, use Quick Attack again!" Pansage had only just gotten there, but saw the gash on Riolu's shoulder, knowing this was serious. Without hesitation, it wrapped Snubull up wit vines, and Riolu rushed in again while Snubull couldn't move.

The Snubull took the hit dead on and let out a loud cry. The Riolu ran into him and full strength, and he couldn't help but wince. The little pink Pokémon, instead of whining, let out a laugh. Double-tagging him was an unwise decision.

Almost as soon as the Snubull's cry was heard a large Marill was rushing over, bubbles floating up from her as she ran. The Female Marill stopped where she was and looked at the scene angrily. Without thinking she tackled the Riolu away from her mate, Snubull and then quickly went over to her child who was tied around the trainer's leg. She called out and grabbed the little Pokémon in her arms, scolding her like a parent should.

As Snubull made sure his child and mate were out of harm he turned to face the Pansage who held him down. "You are going to wish you had never trapped me." he growled as he prepared to bite. The pink Pokémon began flaming at the mouth and it quickly bit into the Pansage until it was free.

As it was released the Snubull turned to Marill and Azurill and then growled at them. Both water types ran off fearfully.

Cassian smiled, but that quickly turned upside down as Snubull laughed and a Marill appeared. It pushed Riolu away, and ran over to grab it's child. It scolded the Azurill, but when Snubull growled, they both ran off in fear. Snubull was still tangled up in vine whip, yet it's mouth inflamed and it tried to bite at Pansage, who simply kept it restricted. Riolu was just now standing up. "Pansage, use leer while Snubull is still in your grip! Riolu, use your fastest quick attack that you can!" Pansage squeezed the struggling Snubull harder, and then leered at it. Riolu backed away about twenty feet before sprinting at full speed.

A Quick Attack at this speed and velocity should be enough, and if it wasn't, leer would have helped. If Snubull didn't collapse for the KO, then the process would be repeated. Casian had this one in the bag.

The Snubull growled as it was hit only to feel itself being beat on. He Snapped angrily at the Riolu and grabbed onto it with its teeth as it ran towards him, shaking in from side to side.

The rough Pokémon then turned to Pansage as it tossed the Riolu and then bit down into the vines holding him with Fire fang. Watching as the vines char the little Pokémon freed himself and ran away towards the group of Pokémon in the distance. If the trainer decided to follow him, Snubull was sure they'd be beat.

The little Azurill whined as the Marill carried it off and when she realized she couldn't get away, started to pout angrily. "Zu Zu." It whined as it's mother carried it back towards safety.

"What do you think you were doing missy?" the Marill asked curiously towards her offspring. "Look what you put Daddy Into. You should be ashamed." the mother cooed angrily as she looked back, worriedly.

Riolu was shocked, along with Cassian as the Snubull turned and caught Riolu with a chomp. It violently shook Riolu around, and then threw it to the side before using fire fang on the vines. Pansage shouted in agony, and Riolu was down to. The Shiny Riolu had a large mark on it's golden mane, which made the little puppy Pokemon angry. He stood and growled back at the Snubull, who snickered and began to flee. "Riolu, I know you're faster than that thing, catch up and tackle it with quick attack, right after it gets out of this." Pansage returned to it's Pokeball, and with Cassian's great arm, he threw a Pokeball and it would hit Snubull just as it ran away, engulfing it completely.

Cassian had made orders, and Riolu was carrying them out right away. He guessed that the Pokeball was what Cassian meant, so it made sure it was at the Pokeball in time, setting up behind the Pokeball, ready to pounce as the Snubull would break out. If this didn't work, Riolu would probably be done for.

The Snubull growled and barked angrily as the Pokéball hit it. The pink Pokémon was taken up in a beam of red light and was pulled into the Pokéball. No. No. the Pokémon thought as it felt itself trying sucked into the catching mechanism.

The Pokéball dropped to the ground heavily and landed it the grassy field. It rolled around on the ground as the Snubull struggled to get free of the Pokéball, trying desperately to break it.

The Pokéball shook once, The Pokéball shook twice, The Pokéball shook three times, and after a long moment of silence a clicking sound echoed around the ball and then stood utterly still.

The Bitting Fiend Snubull had been caught.

Cassian looked at the Pokeball as it sucked the Snubull in. Riolu had skidded to a halt, and knelt down, ready to charge. The Pokeball rocked one, twice, and on the third knock, it clicked, stopped rocking, and the button stopped glowing. Riolu barked at it. Wow. Cassian didn't even really want to catch it, but hey, it seemed like a frisky little fella. He walked over, grabbed the Pokeball, and said "Welcome to the team, Snubbull. You'll love it once you get used to it." Cassian smiled, and attached the Pokeball to his waste. He looked at Riolu who was wincing with pain, yet still on guard.

"Good job, Riolu! You helped me catch a Pokemon! And you didn't do too bad for your first wild Pokemon battle! Up top!" Cassian shouted, folding his arm so that the shiny Riolu would high five it. Riolu was still on edge, but he high fived Cassian anyways, and smiled affectionately. "Okay, you did awesome and deserve an awesome rest! Return!" Cassian would call, letting a red beam engulf Riolu and bring him back into the Pokeball. With that, curiosity got him going, and he started off in the direction the Snubbull had began. Maybe some more Pokemon were there.

For awhile, he just wondered around, letting his Pokemon rest in case another battle was to happen. He looked around, but seemed out of luck. He thought they had all gone home, so he was about to give up...

The sun was warm against the puppies fur as the tussled around playfully. The Pokémon farm was a great place for them to grow up as there were plenty of trainers to fight and even wild Pokémon who'd be willing to help baby Pokémon gain levels.

A big, yet friendly looking Togekiss landed beside the small little of Lillipup and dropped another one into their midst. "You guys need to stick together." the White Pokémon said before lifting up and continuing to fly around. The Pokémon saw a trainer in the farm and circled over head letting a happy cry before flying off.

As the fourth Lillypup was returned to his litter it let out a bored growl before calling to its siblings. "Can we go over there?" it asked loudly "Look, there is a trainer over there. I'm the strongest of us. You guys need to train too though."

One of the littlest Lillipups looked up, lazily, and slowly raised to its paws, and called the rest of its litter. "Fine. Let's Go."

The four little pups quickly all prepared themselves for training and ran off towards the trainer. As they reached Cassian the biggest Lillipup, that had been dropped off by the Togekiss let out a growl and turned to his only brother. "You can do it!"

The little Lillipup growled playfully, stepped forward and bowed its head before the trainer, waiting for his to send out a Pokémon.

Cassian was almost about to leave when he saw a Togekiss flying threw the sky at great speed. This put Cassian on guard, so he grabbed his Riolu's Pokeball. He hunched his back and got low, slitting his eyes as he put his game face on. He had already clicked the Pokeball's button, enlarging it, but he didn't quite feel that it was time to release Riolu.

The Togekiss went out of sight, but another group of Pokemon quickly became visible, and they were all charging at him. A group of Lillipup came forward, but stopped. It was a pack of newborns, about four of them, and a fifth larger one. Cassian hardly moved, but a puppy came forward and bowed, signaling for Cassian to draw his first Pokemon.

Cassian's face lit up as he finally understood. The young trainer returned the bow, and then, in one fluid motion, threw the polished Pokeball in the direction of the Lillipup, so that it stopped halfway and opened, a beam erupting from it took the shape and form of Riolu. Golden glitter pushed away and made a twinkling sound as the shiny Riolu stood in a fighting stance. "Ri!" It nodded to it's target. The two dog like Pokemon faced off, but Riolu would let the Lillipup make the first move, signaling by lifting it's head and saying "Lu."

The smaller canine yipped, tail wagging enthusiastically in anticipation. It took the hint, before hopping forward in preparation. You would think the creature would have rushed right in with a physical attack in an attempt to knock you out right away, rather than plot or whatever... But it didn't. Instead, it's nose twitched as it sniffed Riolu curiously, almost as if it didn't plan on fighting at all. It's brother barked in the background, clearly disappointed in the fact that it didn't do just that. What you didn't realize was that it was using Odor Sleuth in a passive manner, sniffing out Riolu's scent to prevent missing in the near future. It would be near impossible for Riolu to hide, and just a little bit harder to dodge. "Pup!" It barked directly into Riolu's sensitive canine ears, signaling the start of the battle.

Cassian shrugged as the Pokemon just sniffed his shiny Riolu instead of attacking, but he didn't really care. "Riolu, circle the Lillipup as fast as you can using quick attack, you will be blurred so have a better chance of dodging and making it dizzy. Lean in every so often to make contact." As Cassian gave instruction, Riolu began.

Riolu began sprinting, faster and faster every moment as it went in a five foot in circumference circle around the Lillipup. It leaned in after ten seconds to add the attack part to quick. It would ram the Lillipup and then follow it where it went, circling again and again three times after the first.

The lillipup tried to follow it by spinning but it soon became dizzy and fell to the ground with a thud when it was attacked. It's eyes were spinning in a comical fashion and it seemed like it wouldn't recover anytime soon. You could get Riolu to give the finishing attack now, or wait for a real fight. The choice was entirely your's it just depended on how quickly you wanted to continue through the farm.

The Lillipup tried to follow Riolu's movements by spinning, but it seemed dizzy and collapsed after the first attack. After the second quick attack, the Lillipup would be done. It leaned in again to finish the wild Pokemon off, and for extra measure after that, it skidded in the dirt and did a third quick attack to guarantee that it was down for good. Riolu stood triumphantly over the Lillipup with it's arms crossed. "That's how you do it, Riolu!" Cassian shouted cheerfully, then remembered the rest of the Lillipup pack, and suddenly got scared. Riolu was still fine and ready for more battle, but would they attack?

Riolu beat the wild Lillipup and gained one EXP. Riolu gained a level.

The first, defeated Lillipup looked at the Riolu and with a final yelp ran off back to its nest. "That was such a good idea. it barked sarcastically as it ran off, tail between its legs.

The oldest Lillipup watching as his brother ran off and let out a little cry before turning to the second smallest of the litter, a little female with large eyes. She barked enthusiastically and ran forward. Unlike her brother the little Lillipup marched straight into battle. Without waiting for Riolu to react she used Bite and grabbed onto his tail, holding on for a moment before letting go.

As she returned to her battle stance, she waited, It was Riolu's turn.

Riolu had no time to react as the defeated Lillipup scurried away, and the next came forward, biting immediately. Riolu took the attack hard, but managed to keep his ground. The next Lillipup got back into it's stance. Cassian thought for a moment about what he should and could do next. Riolu was perfectly fine, so that was good. He wouldn't switch out just yet, as Riolu truly needed the training. Riolu did something in between a sneer and a grimace towards the cute little Lillipup. Riolu shook off the bite's mane, rubbing at the mark that lay on his golden mane. He prepared to attack, even though Cassian hadn't thought of a plan yet, but he figured Riolu was smart enough to wing it. "Riolu, use quick attack to gain speed, and then jump when your halfway to the Lillipup, and while in midair, roll into a ball and land on your target."

Cassian's makeshift plan probably wouldn't work, but that's all he could think of at the moment. A cannonball would do some pretty hefty damage, but not much he assumed. Then again, the other Lillipup went down after two quick attacks...

The little female lillypup took the attack head n as was knocked into the ground. The impact hit her right along her flank. The dog let out a high yelp in pain and struggled for breath after the attack.

The biggest Lillipup let out an angered yelp towards its sister commanding it to get up. As her brother had ordered, on shaking paws, the little Lillipup stood up and ran right into her target using Tackle.

The hit landed against the Riolu and as the impact was over, the little Lillipup staggered backwards.

To even Cassian's own surprise, his attack had worked, the Lillipup was driven hard into the ground. Riolu rolled back quickly to it's starting position, and prepared to fight. The largest Lillipup barked as the smaller one yelped. On shaky legs, she ran at Riolu, and this was exactly what Cassian had wanted. As she began running, he whispered so only Riolu could here, "Use counter right before she hits you." An so the shiny Riolu stood up straight, putting it's hands behind his back. At the very last second, his aura became a visible, thin blue line shrouding his entire body. This would do the wobbly Lillipup double the damage that it would, and after that, Riolu didn't even need instruction. The golden Riolu would just use quick attack if it even came close to standing back up.

After her Tackle, the little Pup was launched backwards into the ground by counter. she looked up at her brother who only barked dismissively and after a few moments of struggling, she too ran off, tail between her back legs.

Riolu beat the wild Lillipup and gained one EXP. Riolu gained a level.

The oldest of the two remaining scoffed as it's second sibling ran off and then turned to the only other Lillypup, aside from itself that was still standing. This pup seemed different compared to her brother. Her coat had more of a golden hue, comparable to that of Riolu, and her mask of fur was a light cream colour. As her brother barked at her, she padded forward and, with a bit more though than the past Lillpup ran straight at the similar colored, Golden, Riolu. She knocked him down and then Bit down into his scruff.

Cassian smiled as the next Lillipup scurried away in the same direction as the others. That's when he noticed the next, and he kicked himself for not noticing before. A Lillipup that was different from the rest. It's color was slightly different, and Cassian, being a collector, noticed this right away. It was the first shiny, or so he thought was a shiny, Pokemon he had seen since he had caught Riolu years ago. He bit his lip and smirked as his real game face showed. Before, he was just having fun, but he switched into serious mode. As the Shiny Lillipup came out swinging with a tackle, Cassian told Riolu to use endure. He saw that it went for a second direct attack, and Riolu was still down with it's eyes closed. "Quick, Riolu, use counter!" A coat of aura would show as the Lillipup would fail to bite Riolu. The two golden Pokemon were destined to duke it out to the end, and Cassian would not leave without this rare specimen.

As the Lillipup would back up, Cassian eyed the oldest Lillipup, the only one that was left. He wouldn't fancy the idea of Cassian leaving with his sister, so he'd have to work fast. Riolu hadn't taken any real damage, so he could probably last a while against this one. It was his training session, but it push came to shove, Pansage and Snubbull may have to intervene and take one for the team. Riolu rolled up from it's down position, as Cassian commanded a quick attack. It wasn't anything fancy like the others, but instead a direct attack to the cream colored face of the Lillipup.
