Appearance: Diana has long brown hair, extending down to her shoulders. She has inviting sky blue eyes, which distract you from the face of a person who has truly seen something. Like other researchers, she wears a smock. It is open collared, with a white shirt under it, decorated with a long red zip-up tie. Regardless of how cold it is (except in the snow, because that would just be stupid), Diana would wear dark brown shorts, though regardless how warm it is, she wears big dark brown boots. Though she does wear a white plastic belt with a gold buckle, it's not actually keeping anything up.

Personality: Out in the open, one might see a nice girl with a big warm smile. She is usually very ethical. A respectful person, one might say. Diana may also crack a bad joke once in a while. A serious expression, though not necessarily blank. This is nothing but a guise, however, for when in Rome, you do as the Romans do.
Under the make-up is hidden a dark human being. Scars of her past make her what she is today. Once a troubled spirit, she makes up a new disposition to attempt to uplift herself, but nothing can ever truly cover the past, at least not for long. This is nothing to worry about, for this is not you.

History: Her mother, in her childhood witnessed her parents being raped by the raiders. From such a thing, she had become traumatized and criminally insane, forever feeling resentment for their kind. After the experience, her mother moved to the Hoenn region, where she met her father, a man who constantly seeks out other woman. A year later, Diana was born- a bastard child.
Her childhood didn't work out very well. Her mother being a racist, and her father being a "player". At school, she would isolate herself from other children, and the teacher. Diana had always felt alone. At the age of ten, she ran off, stealing a pokemon from professor Birch and leaving. Her father was watching over her at the time, and had found out of her doing. Assuming that people would think of him as irresponsible, he called his family, telling them that he let his daughter off on a pokemon journey.
After being caught for stealing, Diana was deported to Honiso, where she served time for four years. She was held captive on Amtheius Island, where she saw through her cell bars, her cousin starting his pokemon journey in a dangerous rush. Feeling powerless to do anything, Diana began planning for what she would do after being released. Upon doing so, she went to Hawthrone's lab, where she applied for a job.
Although Diana's pokemon were confiscated permanently, she was returned the pokeballs she had on hand. With them, she caught a new companion, her snorunt, Helada (The d is pronounced with a "th" sound)

Personality: Helada doesn't speak much, acting as a blind follower to Diana. Of course, it also makes her fairly easy to work with. She does, however exhibit fear at most times.
