Name: Alice 'Ali' Cromwell

Appearance: Ali is tall, thin, and her figure has the most delicate curves to it. Her hair is the color of the afternoon sun, her bangs draw the most attention to her though as they stand almost straight out on either side of her forehead. Her hair is usually kept in a pony tail while training her team, but during contests she goes all out with it. Ali has a set of emerald green eyes, set agianst a fair skin tone. Under her left eye, she has a cuttie mark. This young woman stands 5'7" and weighs 135 pounds.
Personality: Ali in general is a very kind and loveable woman, who loves to make friends with everyone. This especially goes for her pokemon, who she treats like they're family. She is disgusted by the thought of people using and abusing their pokemon, and will scream at anyone she sees doing it. She gives her pokemon all the love and praise she feels they desirve, which for her is on the very brink of spoiling them rotten.

In battle however, her personality takes a full 180. Her motto is, 'the best defence is a good offence' and she shows this very well. Ali becomes a determined, die hard trainer who will push until the very end to win. Her tendency to be a sore loser has left her without many rematches, but she never blames her team for the loss. She lives by her 'golden rule': "There are no bad pokemon, just bad trainers".
History: Ali was born and raised in Verdanturf Town in the Hoenn Region, beginning her journey at age ten with a Torchic. In the begging, things went very well for Ali, and she was about to fight in Dewfords Gym against Brawly. But, in a tragic turn of events, while training in the caves in Dewford, a wild Mawile appeared out of no where and attempted to attack Ali and her newly evolved Combuskin, Archer. Archer fought very hard, but in the end lost. Not only the battle, but his life as well.

After this tragedy, Ali didn't set foot outside her house for what seemed like forever. She'd have vivid nightmares, watching Archer as the life drained from his very eyes. She refused another journey, fearing that this may happen once again. In her heart she blamed herself, she though it was all her fault that Archer had died.

However, on ali's 16th birthday, she had another dream, one very different from what she was used to having. She was floating, in a vast, empty white void. She called out
"Hello?!" only to hear her own voice echoing back at her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a bright light and sheilded her eyes from the rays.
A gasp escaped her as she saw Archer standing there, a white glow surrounding him.
"Archer! What are you doing here I thought you-!"
Archer nodded then smiled at Ali, then another shock came as he opened his beak
"It's alright Ali, me dying wasn't your fault. I could never blame you for what happened, you were trying so hard to keep me alive as you rushed me to the pokemon center. You're a wonderful girl, and you shouldn't let this cloud your mind, now, I want to tell you about a place I've heard of. It's called the Honiso Region, I think it may be just the place for you to start over."
He smiled, and walked over hugging Ali one last time.
"Goodbye Ali, good luck, and I love you."
With that, his spirit faded away, finally able to pass on now that his trainer had finally calmed the ragging storm that dwelled inside her heart for so many long years.

Now, Ali has pushed the thoughts of the past out of her mind, and is making her way to the Honiso Region. For a fresh start, a new beginning, another chance to redem herself. This time around, she's going to try contests, and see what they do for her.

Name: Equinox (Eevee, Female)
Level: 5
Moves: Tackle, Growl, Sand Attack
Personality: Equinox is a sweet and gentle Eevee around Ali. She loves to be cuddled at night and to be given her favorite food as a treat, which are Chopple Berries. In battle, just like her trainer, she does a full 180 and becomes a headstrong little girl who will not give in until the fight is well and done. Her dream is to become the top contest pokemon, and to evolve into an Umbreon. Ali knows this, because when she was looking through a book about the Eeveelutions, Equinox began to paw and cry out in longing at the page with the picture of an Umbreon.
