Ok... So yesterday's training session was a bit of an absolute failure. Sure, Shellder won a battle and gained some experience- HOWEVER, it didn't exactly 'power up' his 'stats'. So, they've returned to the beach in hopes of power training. "Shellder, don't have too much fun. Don't forget why we're here in the first place." The Princess called out to her partner, the Bivalve pokèmon. He slapped his tongue against the sand with a look of apathy, wincing as he felt just how hot it really was. Kyoko, in a tight fit bikini, waded through the water as she held Bonkers tightly- searching for wild pokèmon.

The ocean was gentle today, moving back and fourth like a ballerina. There is a slight breeze which picks up, though there aren't many clouds in the sky. The sands feel hot like a live coal to anyone who steps on it.
Suddenly, Kyoko sees what appears to be a small green ball rolling down the beach. It leaves a thin trail in the sand, which is blown eastward by the wind. As it regains its composure, Kyoko identifies the "ball" as a pokemon, a budew. It gets up with a slightly ticked off look on its face, as it stumbles back to the grass. The bulb on its head shakes as it waddles, and its feet sink in the sand. Kyoko sees that the pokemon is now stuck.

"..." Click. That was the sound her brain made when she realized that the little pokèmon had gotten itself stuck. She would reach out and try to give it a helping hand, but according to her pokèdex- as it automatically registered Budew's presence and began droning in it's mechanical voice about the baby pokèmon's species and their traits- she found out that it was part poison. And that by touching the creature, she could potentially, actually get poisoned herself. With that bit of knowledge, Kyoko reached into her bag and pulled out a simple wash cloth, wrapping the thin fabric around her fingers before reaching out for the baby pokèmon's... Vines? Seeing as the Budew's lower body was wedged in the sand, it's not like there was anything else she could grab a hold of.

"Come on..." Kyoko's brows scrunched together in concentration as she tried to pull the little thing out of the sand, without injuring it. But seeing as it only weighed around 3 lbs, that wouldn't prove to be too hard. Shellder's wide, vacant eyes, stared as his trainer helped the wild pokèmon, although the look on his face showed disapproval. The wash cloth would make sure that she didn't burn her hands from the poison- but who's to say what the baby pokèmon was gonna do once it escaped it's sandy prison?

The pokemon kicked its legs a couple of times, falling back to the sand, bringing the cloth with it. Budew thumps onto the beach sending a puff of sand into the air. It had stuck itself once again. The cloth falls onto the sand. Budew turns to you frustrated. Its "seedling" opens, and sprays a puff of orange dust: stun spore.
