It was quite a nice day out. The sun sparkled overhead, lightning up the sky with its golden glow. Grass stretched as far as the eye could see. It was lush green and flowers of all colors dotted with it. There was a gentle breeze that made the grass sway peacefully. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. This truly was a perfect day.
A figure stood alone on top on of the many small hills of the meadow. A small creature was perched on its head. This figure was a person. She stood there looking at a map. Her backpack was at her feet. One her head was a young Pichu.
This person was Ariana. Arina looked up.
"So this is Isido Meadows." She said to herself, looking around.
"Quite a nice place, right Kara?" Arina said to her Pichu.
"Pichuu~" Kara replied happily.
"First things first, we should go catch a pokemon and train a little." Arina bent down and grabbed her backpack. She opened it and stuck the map into it. She swung the backpack onto her back and adjusted her glasses.
"Lets go find us a pokemon!" Arina yelled.
"Pi pichu!" Replied Kara enthusiastically. She jumped off of Arina's head and onto the ground. Kara then ran a few feet ahead and poked her head into some tall grass. She didn't see anything so ran to the next one. Kara continued to do this as they moved around the field.
Arina walked around, looking for any kind of movement in the grass. Her feet carried her deeper into the meadows.

The day possessed at least a glorious morning. The meadows were lively, and pokemon skipped about carefree, hardly flinching to acknowledge you and Kara's presence. It was then a small rythmic noise coming from the bottom of your leg. It was a cute Kricketot. These pokemon were usually fairly timid, but this one seemed to have taken a shine to you. It snuggled it's picturesque antennae to your calf and then hopped happily in front of you. Although it didn't want to battle in a nasty way, it wanted to possibly show off to you, or impress you. It pointed at Pichu, nodded, then stood in a fighting stance. "Kriee icky!" it sang, in a cute way, and suddenly Kricketot began to glow red. It was obviously a bide attack. It keep shining illuminously, and stored it's power...

Arina looked around at all of the Pokémon dancing around. They seemed so peaceful. It would be such a shame to attack them.
A noise caught Arina's attention. She looked down and saw a cute little Kricketot.
"Hi there little Kricketot." She said to it. Kara turned around at the sound of Arina's voice. She ran over and peered at the Kricketot. "Pichuu," Kara said to it.
Arina giggled as the Kricketot rubbed it's antenna on her. Arina watched it hop in front of her then point to Kara. Arina realized that the little Kricketot probably wanted to battle.
"Kara, get ready. I think it wants to battle." She called over to her pokemon who was also watching the Kricketot. Kara dropped into a fighting stance. This would be their first battle.
"Kriee icky!"Kara cocked her head in confusion. She had thought the Kricketot had wanted to battle. Then the Kricketot started to glow.
"Okay Kara. Use tail whip!" Arina shouted the command. Kara then waggled her tail hoping that it would lower the Kricketot's defense. Arina watched the Kricketot for any signs of reaction.

(You seriously don't need to repeat everything that I typed. Just extend on what I put. You do not control Kricketot, and that's what your posts look like you're doing.)
The Kricketot seemed unphased by your Pichu's attack. At least that seemed the case, until it's Bide attack suddenly stopped. Kricketot began to abort the battle and run away, "Ick!"it squeaked as it trotted along the grass quickly. Would you try to catch up to it, or would it just run away back to it's natural habitat?

(Oops. Sorry. I won't do that anymore.)

Arina gasped," No Kricketot, come back!" She took a step forward. "Come on Kara, it’s going to get away!" Arina bolted after the fleeing Kricketot.
Kara stared blankly at where the Kricketot had gone. She looked at the spot wondering why it had fled. The sound of her trainer's voice snapped her back to reality and Kara ran after her trainer. In a few seconds, Kara was running ahead of Arina.
How hard can keeping up with a Kricketot be? It is red so it stands out among the grass. Arina thought as she ran. It soon proved to be harder then she had thought. In less than a minute, Arina and Kara had lost sight of the Kricketot.
"Come on, it has to be somewhere." Arina grumbled to herself. The two girls started to look.
Arina peered around, using her height to her advantage. She looked down into all of the tall grass that was there. She parted it and looked at the ground. There was nothing there. She moved around looking at each place.
Kara was doing much of the same. She was running through the grass, poking her head into the grass. Coming up to a rock, she ran around it. There wasn't anything there. Kara looked at the rock. She moved closer and looked at the bottom of the rock. She was considering if the Kricketot had somehow got under the rock. Kara grabbed the rock and pulled.
"Pi.... chu....." She groaned as she tried to lift. This rock was heavy. After a minute of trying to lift the rock, Kara gave up and went to look elsewhere.
Arina and Kara were looking in everyplace they could think of. They weren't paying much attention to where they were going though.
Before long, Arina realized she had no idea where they were. She looked around for a landmark but everything looked the same. It was an endless sea of grass in all directions.
"Uhhh...... Kara, do you know where we are?" Arina asked, looking around for her Pokémon. Kara was a few feet away. She ran over to her trainer.
"Pichu...." Kara said looking around. She shook her head.
Arina sighed. "And we couldn't even find that Kricketot." Suddenly, her stomach growled. Kara laughed but then her stomach growled too.
"Let’s eat then." Arina said. She dropped her blue backpack and opened it. Arina then pulled out a can of pokemon food and a sandwich. She opened the can. She then put it down in front of Kara. Arina unwrapped her sandwich and took a big bite.
"Pichu~" Kara said happily as she grabbed some poke food and ate it.

"Ick." squeaked a familiar voice. It looked closely at the food, and then waddled towards you. It sniffed the food and sort of honked with it's musical antennae, when it's antennae unparted, a strange mark was on one, which appeared to be a wound. It looked at Kara, and let out a yelp. It had once been attacked by another electric type, Manectric, and was clearly petrified. It hid behind you instead of fleeing, and squeaked. "Iii!".

Arina blinked in confusion. She turned and looked at the Kricketot hiding behind her.
Whats it hiding from? She thought to herself. The only other thing there was Kara. Is it scared of Kara? Arina wondered to herself.
"Chu...." Kara squeaked. She tried to run around Arina and look at the Kricketot but she was stopped. Arina had put her arm in front of Kara.
"I think it's scared of you." Arina whispered quietly to Kara. Arina turned back around to look at the Kricketot.
"What’s wrong? Why are you scared?" Arina asked the Kricketot. That’s when she noticed the strange mark on one of its antennas.
"A-are you hurt?!" She gasped. Arina didn't really know what to do. She wasn't sure if the mark was an injury but she didn't want to get to close and scare it off. Arina looked at the Kricketot, waiting to see what it did and making sure that Kara stayed behind her.

Kricketot being musically talented, was able to mimic any pokemon's cry with it's antennae. They tapped together rythmically, with a loud crash, and then and Manectric's cry. Then strangely a Kricketune's cry, perhaps it's mother, then the Kricketune's cry stopped, suddenly, with a dark manner. Suddenly Kricketot burst into flood's of tears. It's mother had been killed by the electric type, and Kricketot had been injured. It was traumatised, as Pichu was and electric type too, so it was wary of it. It stamped it's feet and fell to the ground. It was heartbroken. It held up a flower, with gigantic blue petals, it had been carrying it around. Maybe it was a flower from it's mother...

Arina blinked in surprise. She would have never guessed that this would happen.
"So you were attacked by a Manectric and it hurt you and k-killed someone you were close to?" Arina asked, making sure that she had the story straight.
"Kricketot.... I-I'm sorry..." She stuttered out and hugged the crying Pokémon. She saw the flower and assumed that the Pokémon that had been killed must have been a female. Maybe the Pokémon was this Kricketot’s mother or sister. Arina thought to herself trying to comfort the little Kricketot.
Kara, having heard the commotion, peaked around Arina to see what was going on. She felt bad for the Kricketot and was about to walk up to it but a look from Arina caused her to scamper back to where the Kricketot couldn't see her.

"Icky! Icky! it blubbered, and it was warmed by your reaction. It snuggled into you and then unzipped your backpack. It crawled into the bag, and took out a pokeball, which it held in two hands, as it was almost as big as the Kricketot. It held out the pokeball infront of you, and it had a strange glimmer in it's eyes. It then used it's melodious antennae, to make the sound of a pokemon being captured....

Arina smiled at the Kricketot and held it closer to her. It made her happy that the Kricketot liked her. She watched the Kricketot, puzzled.
"What are you doing?" She asked confused. Arina peered into her bag at the Kricketot as it crawled out. Arina picked up her Pokeball that the Kricketot had laid infront of her. She was puzzled, unsure of what the Kricketot wanted. She understood though when the Kricketot imitated the Pokeball.
"Oh! You want to come with me?" Arina gasped in shock. "Well okay." She tapped the Kricketot with the Pokeball and waited to if the Kricketot really did want to come with her.
Kara poked her head around just in time to see her trainer tap the ball on Kricketot's head. "Pichu Pi?" She said confused as in what was happening. Kara just watched to see if the Kricketot would join them.

Arina gasped in surprise as the ball clicked. Kara squeaked. Arina had never noticed that her Pichu had moved. The two stared at the ball, surprised. Then the joy came.
"We caught our first Pokémon!" Arina shouted and jumped to her feet. "Look! We actually did it!" Kara jumped on Arina's shoulder. "Pichu Pi!" She cried out in joy. "WWHHOOOAAHHH!!!" Arina cried out happily.
She looked at the ball, her eyes shining happily. "You need a name." She said mostly to herself. She looked at the ball trying to think of a suitable name for the Kricketot.
Well, the Kricketot is a boy so I should name him... She thought to herself. "Mark!" Arina said the last part out loud. "I'll call you Mark." Kara nodded in agreement. "Pichu."
"So you like the name too Kara?" Arina asked. Her Pichu nodded. "Okay then, let’s go!" Arina said and she happily skipped away from the meadow and onto her next adventure with a new friend with her.
