That's his trainer suit but whenever he trains his TaeKwonDo skills, he wears a white, long-sleeved taekwondo dobuk with a black stripe along the seams, with matching pants and bandanna, bare foot with blue guards and a black belt. His name is printed on the back of the shirt.

Personality: Hwoarang is known for his jerkiness, rudeness, boastfulness, perverseness and his snobbish personality. He accepts any challenge whether its fist fight or Pokemon battle. He knows when to run and when to give up. He also has a very high IQ which seems like he knows everything you ask him. He indeed has a dark personality but it's opposite when it comes to his Pokemon. He becomes sweet, protective and jolly type. He hates baby Pokemon and will abandon them if he finds or obtains one. He likes burgers, fries and cookies. He loves training his ITF TaeKwonDo skills whenever he has the time. He dislikes aura trainers and he is a total show-off. He can be a part of a team but he won't cooperate that much, he usually follows his own ways. Protective and helpful to wild Pokemon.

History: Hwoarang is a student of the infamous Zenki Razuri and well-versed in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. Frustrated and happy, he entered The TaeKwonDo Tournament 3 to fight a conclusive battle with the infamous Loz, and to get revenge for the "supposed" death of his master. A student of Tae Kwon Do who works out at Zenki Razuri's dojo, Hwoarang made a lot of money through dishonest gambling wagers. As part of what's called a fraud team, he and other members pick fights for money. They manipulate the odds by concealing their true strength. Hwoarang escalates the odds against him and makes what appears to be a foolish wager. His opponents soon realize they're the real fools when Hwoarang soundly beats each and every one of them.

One day, while walking on his way to fetch members of his fraud team, he saw a Charmander being picked on by teens. The Charmander is about to die by them putting out his flames and punching him. Hwoarang saw it and decided if he should help or not, he decided to help and there's three of the teens. It's like breaking a toothpick for Hwoarang. He stared on the teens and they stood up staring at him, ready for a brawl.

"What are you doing to that Charmander?" said Hwoarang.
"None of your business. Get the hell out of here. said one of them.
"I am asking you what are you-" stopped Hwoarang when a teen tried to punch him on the face but he managed to dodge just in time, he kicked the guy's stomach and his face in lightning fast kicks, two teens grabbed both of his arms and other guy punched him on the stomach, it didn't hurt much, duh, Hwoarang's body is too big for them. Hwoarang, filled with adrenaline, thrash the two teens grabbing his arms and threw them away. The other one kicked him on the head but that made Hwoarang more angry so he did some combo kicks, spinning kicks and ended it with a high kick straight on the nose. The three ran away knowing they'll lose. Charmander is about to die but Hwoarang rushed him on a Pokemon Center and recovered, after that, he planned to be a trainer and left his fraud team. Though still interested in brawls.
